Touch sincerely invites Mark Landwehr and Sven Waschk from Germany, Mr. likey from the United States and Pex Pitakpong Jamesripong from Thailand, bringing you a unique and avant-garde art exhibition “Being Whimsy” with their distinctive style and aesthetics, combined with their own local popular culture.

The works of German artists Mark Landwehr and Sven Waschk, known as the luxury of toys, explore life issues such as ageing, longing, loneliness and searching for a partner. Reflecting every aspect of public and personal life through a unique perspective;  Mr. Likey, a Hong Kong artist who grew up in the United States, combines street art, subverts popular cartoon elements and re-creates them. Integrating pop culture symbols and imaginative elements, he reconstructs the familiar cartoon characters in life and shows his unique world view; Through lovely characters such as "Mari", Thai artist Pex Pitakpong Jamesripong, hopes the audience can re-examine and care for their inner child. The playful and lovely dolls also reveal the artist's complex emotions towards society.

Although the Artists from three places of the world all create works based on popular culture and characters, yet their works have their own personalities and styles. Touch genuinely invites you to visit “Being Whimsy” to appreciate how the artists explore life and cultural differences to express through art and pop culture.
